Excellent tool
I use this headset with my cell phone (a Treo 700w), my desk phone (Avaya Partner II system) and my laptop for Skype calls (MacBook Pro). I have also used it with my home phone and have been completely pleased in all cases. It is comfortable, the audio quality is excellent and the system is easy to use.

not just a headset, but complicated landline phone connect system as well
This is the really nice plantronics bluetooth headset, which works great as a headset, but also bundled with this is a complicated system (part mechanical) which can pick up and hang up your landline office phone. The headset as you know can pair with two devices, so this includes a bluetooth adapter for your landline phone, hence the price difference. You can basically pick up calls from both your cell and landline seamlessly with the same headset if you need that feature.

Heavy business user ...
The unit was easy to set up by using the directions...very well written and illustrated... to get the most out of the lifter (which I highly recommend getting), please attach the extension... since I began using the extension, mine has worked well every time....i love the unit, and would buy another...very comfortable to wear.... It even has a toll free automated line to call to get the sound right... AWESOME!

Plantronics CS70 Headset System
I bought the Plantronics CS70 headset system at the recommendation of my Hosted VoIP provider. The headset is connected to a Polycom IP450 in my home office. This is my primary work location. I use it every day.The call quality is excellent; and it is a very comfortable headset (I forget I have it on sometimes).I am disappointed with the limited range - I cannot go from one of the house to the other; or outside.I have not been able to get the HL10 lefter accessory to work correctly with the Polycom IP450.

Handy device - as long as your receiver has an aux input on the front
This is one of the easiest blue-tooth gadgets to use, and one of the handiest. Unlike most other hands-free add-ons, this one does NOT use an FM transmitter to broadcast over your car stereo- it uses a 2.5mm jack (mini-headphone size - same as an iPod.) This of course means that your receiver has to have an available jack to plug into. Assuming your vehicle is so equipped, then this is probably the best hands-free add on you could find. One large button controls it all (It also houses the microphone.) There's a plate that gets stuck to your dash - the dash side is foam adhesive tape, the other grabs the button with a magnet.At one end of the cable is that button/mic combination - this attaches to the dash. At the other end is a standard cigarette lighter style plug. Stick this in the auto's outlet (I guess they are no longer called lighters.) Great Product, Really shines with an iPhone
My car has a 12V receptacle and an AUX input inside the center console. I have an iPhone 3GS and had been using a 1st gen iPod Touch to play music through the AUX input. I wanted to consolidate devices, by using my phone to play music, and also be able to make phone calls 'nearly' hands-free. All while using A2DP (over bluetooth). I like to imagine that this is one of Steve Job's strong points.In researching solutions, there weren't many. Parrot devices were expensive, and would require a separate visor mounted box. Most devices also connected through FM transmitters. There were only two options which answered my specific pain point.Enter the Aircast Auto. The device was at a mild price point, and seemed to have all the functionality I required. The product was extremely intuitive to set up. Best I've Tried
I had this model for a year or two (2007-2009?), gave it to my mom, and upgraded to the Plantronics Voyager PRO (). I enjoyed great sound quality, great battery life, and great range. I've had bad experiences with two different Motorola products; so, it's refreshing to find the Plantronics bluetooth wireless headsets so well made.

if you don't mind the BORG look, best overall headset out.
Let me start by saying i've owned a lot of high end BT headsets, Plantronics Voyager Pro, Plantronics 975, Blueant T1, Parrot B250XT, Parrot Xpressway, and some cheaper Chinese Brands like the Gblue and Bluedio.I was ISO the perfect headset that balances look, fit, sound, and also has A2DP. I find no matter how much technology, or how fancy the name of the technology, there's substitution for a mic that gets closer to the mouth. The best phone only headset i've ever owned is the Parrot B250XT, but the thing looks like I'm taking drive thru orders at McD's (but it works as well as the ones you see coaches wear at football games).This headset seems to be the best balance of everything.Call me a geek but here's my LAB TEST. I used a 2nd phone using a wired sound isolation headset, put it on mute, and called my HTC EVO Bluetoothed to the Plantronics Voyager Pro Plus.I started with complete silence. When first taking it out of the box you wonder how you could possibly wear a Bluetooth headset that will, as my wife put it, make you look like a phone operator, especially coming from wearing smaller headsets. However, you quickly forget about this once you start using the headset.While it takes a few tries to get used to putting on the Plantronics, the fit is very comfortable. This is probably the most comfortable Bluetooth headset I've ever worn. After hours of wearing it, you do not notice that it's on, and once taken off, there is no aching or period of readjusting to normal. There are a few different eargel sizes and foam covers. I like that the ear gels go into your ear, but do not fit into your ear canal, which makes for a tough time finding a perfect fit.Perfect.
